Using Plugins

WordPress plugins are add-on modules that extend functionality in specific ways. Several plugins are already installed and active on ACPS Teacher blogs. You can see the plugins available to you by clicking the Plugins in the Dashboard’s left sidebar menu, including:

  • Google Doc Embedder – supports inline viewing of PDF, Office, and Pages documents
  • Custom Twitter Feeds – helps you set up a widget for your Tweets.

Feel free to browse the thousands of WordPress plugins available from the WordPress Plugins Directory. Many are free but others are sold. If you find a plugin that you think will help you accomplish one of your objectives, email the ACPS WebManager. We will download and install the plugin and activate it for your site.
